During a media briefing, Police Chief Harold Medina said the shooting occurred just outside of the campus around 8:30 a.m.

Burson was heading out of the school, and he got into a dispute with another juvenile, which resulted in the shooting.

According to Medina, A suspect has been identified. Despite the reality that they have not been apprehended, he believes they offer no risk to the public.

The attacker is suspected of being a youngster, but it’s unclear if he or she was a West Mesa High School student. Burson died as a direct result of his injuries.

On Friday morning, Andrew Burson was shot and killed just outside of West Mesa High School.

West Mesa School announced that the class for Monday is canceled until further notice. However, On-campus staff and therapists will be available.

A source told KOAT that he spotted a student on the ground. He reported that the first person came to the student right afterward and began trying to revive him.

Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller claimed that the city simply lacks tools to keep weapons out of the hands of youngsters and that a gun conversation with youths is essential.

Andrew Burson Death Cause Revealed

Andrew Burson was shot to death after a dispute with a fellow juvenile. His name is yet to be revealed.

As per the police reports, the victim, Andrew Burson, died right after the shot was fired. The police departments haven’t arrested him to date.

The accident happened soon after 8 a.m., all across the street from West Mesa’s football field, as per APD.

According to authorities, Burson supposedly left campus just after 8 a.m. and met with the suspect across the street. According to reports, violence broke out, and Burson was shot and died.
