Bryan Bresee Parents And Family Tradition Of Athletic Success

Bryan Bresee parents Richard Bresee and Meghan Bresse were college-level athletes. Bryan Bresee sister Kendall played college basketball.

Bryan is 21 and celebrates his birth anniversary on the 6th of October. He stands 6 foot 5 inches tall.

The defensive tackle for Clemson Tigers was part of the Urbana High School football team before he transferred and played for Damascus High School in Maryland.

His stint with Damascus was hugely successful, as he was part of the state championship team in 2017 and 2019. He was named the ACC Defensive Rookies of the Year of 2020.

Following Bryan’s exploits in high school football, numerous football programs reached out to the youngster. 

There were offers from many renowned college football programs, including Penn State, Ohio State, and Alabama Georgia, but the player chose Clemson Tigers.

Bryan Bresee Father and Mother

Bryan Bresee father is Richard Bresee and his mother is Meghan Bresee. They both are from sporting backgrounds.

Richard Bresee resides in Urbana, Maryland, and is in his 50s.

Richard was a college-level athlete and played football at James Madison University in Virginia. 

The dad of four children has been an active part of Bryan’s football career and was heavily involved in his college selection and placement procedure.

The heart of the Bresee family and the mother of four is Meghan Flynn Bresee. She hails from the basketball scenario and played college basketball from 1992 to 1995.

Meghan was enrolled at Frederick Community College in Maryland and was part of their women’s basketball team. She consecutively made the All-American team two years in a row, in 1992 and 1993.

In 1992, Meghan won the Maryland Junior Championship with Frederick’s basketball team. Apart from basketball, she is also a licensed nurse who obtained her practical nursing license in 1995.

After college, she worked at Holy Cross Hospital for numerous years and later joined a pediatric office.

The couple dated briefly in the mid-90s and finally settled down in 1995.

Bryan grew up with his nuclear family in Maryland.

The Bresee family is sports-invested as the guardians of the four children who played football and basketball in their youth. The torch of athleticism has been passed over to their children.

The family is seen enjoying their time with each other. The entire Bresee family vacationed in Falmouth, Jamaica, in 2019.

Bryan received family support for his football career from an early age. He speaks highly of his family and sees them in the stands whenever they can make their way to his game.

Bryan has three sisters in which two of them are older than him, while one is the youngest.

Kendall Bresee is the oldest of the Bresee siblings and is into sports. The other two kin, Bailey Bresee Wilkes and Ella Bresee, are sports enthusiasts.

Bailey Bresee Wilkes

Bailey Wilkes is the eldest offspring of Bryan. She is married and has a one-year-old daughter, Callie.

As per Bailey’s Facebook profile, she graduated high school from Urbana High School. She went on to study at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.

She still lives in her hometown Urbana, Maryland.

Bailey got married to Michael Wilkes on 6th July 2020. She gave birth to her daughter, Callie Flynn, around August 2021.

Kendall Bresee

Kendall Bresee is the second-eldest sister of Bryan. She played for over four years for Mount St. Mary’s women’s basketball team.

Per Kendall’s LinkedIn profile, she is the New Business Associate at DraftKings.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Mount St. Mary’s University. Likewise, she has other degrees like a Masters in Business and a Science of Sports Management Masters. She completed all these educational achievements while playing in the NCAA women’s basketball.

During her college basketball years, she won two Northeast Conference Championships. She scored over a thousand points during her career.

Her praiseworthy performance landed her numerous accolades, such as:

  • Two First Team All-NEC selections
  • NEC Player of the Year 2020-21
  • Defensive player of the Year 2020-21
  • Scholar-Athlete of the Year 2020-21

Ella Bresee

Ella Bresee is the youngest child among the Bresee siblings. She was born in 2007.

Ella was very fond of Starbucks and Sweet Babe’s ice cream.

Ella was really into basketball, scary movies, and TV shows. Her favorite TV show was Survivor, which she used to watch with her dad.

In 2021, Ella started having headaches and did several tests, such as MRI and neurological. When the result came in April, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

The tumor was life-threatening, and Ella had numerous surgeries and radiations. The Bresee family stuck together in such hard times as the youngest went through months of chemo sessions.

It was very unfortunate for Bryan’s entire family when Ella passed away on September 15, 2022. It was a significant loss for Bryan and his family to lose their precious family member.

Ella was honored in Clemson’s match against NC State as many attendees wore the t-shirts with ‘Ella Strong.’
