Tributes:
“I’ve been trying to find the right words to say all day. First, I’d like to thank everyone for reaching out with kind words. It genuinely means a lot to my family and me.
Secondly… as many of you know, Dave Hunter was a force of nature. Everything he set his mind to, he dominated. He went above and beyond for many. He truly was an amazing person, friend, and father.
Lastly, my heart is shattered having to type this. We lost an amazing person today. Dad, you were my go-to person, best friend, and forever rock. I love you so much and can not believe I no longer have the option to call you seven times a day. I’m trying not to focus on the things we no longer get to share but focus on all the things we did. I miss you, but you are in heaven with Uncle Bo and Papa. I promise to follow in your footsteps and try to find a way to honor your legacy. I love you, Dad; rest peacefully.”
