Former Zimbabwe Netball Champion Pauline Jani Died

The community of Zimbabwe netball national team is mourning the death of their most devoted player as she passed away at the age of 34.

Cause of death

The officials did not yet declare Pauline Jani‘s exact cause of death, but it has been said that she died due to some medical illness as she was admitted to Parirenyatwa Hospital. The circumstances and the disease at which she died remains unknown. However, investigations are being carried out, and we will provide information as soon as it is available. The death news was announced by ZRP Mambas head coach Talent Museka.

Who was Pauline Jani?

Pauline Jani was born on 10 July 1989. She was a former Zimbabwe netball player and played as goalkeeper and netkeeper. She was a member of Zimbabwe’s first netball World Cup in 2019 in Liverpool and took retirement at the end of the year. After her retirement, she stayed active in her field and played netball locally, where she also got many awards. After COVID-19 in 2021. She also gained the Rainbow Netball Amateur League Golden Hand medals in the 2021 to 2022 netball seasons. Not only did she stop here, but she was also a member of the Zimbabwe Republic police, where she served her services as a constable.
