Whatever you want to call it, you know you’ve made it when you’re featured in morning talk show news. NBC’s Today featured a story about graphic recording, a which is a part of our Maga mapmaking process.
The piece debates the merits of this activity, whether it is worth the time, and if it will take off a facilitation technique. The Wall Street Journal lists multiple companies who have hired graphic facilitators to train their own senior management to better facilitate meetings using some visual placeholders to guide conversation.
The consensus seems to be that graphic facilitation is a great way to bring creativity into the work place. Any time we are using the right side of our brains we are pushing ourselves to think differently, and seeing problems in a different light.
