Awful news has appeared; the L.A (Los Angeles) County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office has identified a boy killed in a heavy truck vs e-bike collision in Valencia on Monday, 9 October morning.
According to county officials, Louie Barba, 17, of Santa Clarita, died at the scene around 9 a.m.
It is tragic news for Louie Barba’s family, friends, and community, who lost an essential part of life.
Police Statement:
In Valencia, the accident happened close to the intersection of McBean Parkway and Skycrest Circle.
Around 10 a.m. on Monday, an e-bike was seen on the ground where the collision happened—around 20 to 22 feet or so away from the crash scene.
The incident is being handled by deputies from the Traffic Unit at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, but the driver wasn’t arrested on Monday; however, the inquiry is still ongoing to identify the real cause of the accident.
Louie’s school announcement :
Mike Kuhlman, the William S. Hart Union High School District superintendent, verified on Tuesday morning that Barba’s family has been informed that their son has passed away. Louie was a student at the Academy of the Canyons at the time of his passing.
The school superintendent supports Louie’s friends, who are disturbed because of the death news of their beloved friend.
Funeral Detail:
It is difficult for the Barba family, who lost their teenage boy. The Barba family suffered from a mental shock. Maybe that is the reason that they didn’t announce any funeral details. They need some time to cover up this situation.
Our support and prayers are with Louie Barba and his family, who have suffered from this mourning situation. May GOD give patience and power to Louie’s family, and May GOD open the Door of Heaven for Louie.
