Little is known about Marc before he became a famed personality. He attended Hillcrest High, alongside his future wife Fran Drescher.
Before he took a camera into his own hands and put his ideas on paper, Peter aspired to become an actor, and made his debut in an episode of the TV series “Wonder Woman” (1979). He continued with the roles in such films as “Gorp” (1980), and “Battle Creek Brawl” (1980), starring Jackie Chan, Kristine DeBell and José Ferrer. Through the ‘80s he featured in such productions as “Movers & Shakers” (1985), “Dangerous Love” (1988), and “Love and Betrayal” (1989), however, his acting career headed nowhere so he decided to take action, and with his wife created the comedy series “The Nanny”. His wife, Fran, also starred in the show; it aired from 1993 until 1999, becoming one of the most popular TV series.
Inspired by the success of the show, he took writing as his new profession, and worked on the TV series “What I Like About You”, starring Amanda Bynes, Jennie Garth and Wesley Jonathan. His next project was the TV series “Tease” in 2009, and then he and his wife again co–operated for the TV series “Happily Divorced” (2011-2013), based on their own lives. The series featured John Michael Higgins and Tichina Arnold as main stars, next to Fran Drescher.
Regarding his personal life, Peter was married to Fran Drescher from 1978 until 1999, before coming out as gay. Other details about his life are unknown in the media, including his current relationship status.
