As mentioned earlier, Bossier Parish teacher Deandre Demar Council was arrested by Bossier sheriff’s detectives on Monday, May 2, and booked into Bossier Maximum-Security Facility at Plain Dealing at 10:02 p.m. the same day. And he is charged with one count each of indecent behavior with juveniles, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, distribution of marijuana, and, obstruction of justice evidence.

Moreover, no bonds have been set yet. During an interview, the victim told detectives that Deandre allegedly gave money on numerous occasions in expectancies of getting either explicit or clothed pictures of the victim. Detectives say the kid also was given gifts and marijuana.

Before his arrest, Council acquiesced to meet with investigators for an interview during which he allegedly admitted to giving marijuana, money, and gifts to the juvenile. And after a search of his mobile, authorities say Council revealed deleting some of his social media apps and pictures of the device.
