William (Bill) C. Stone is the Chairman and CEO of SS&C Technologies, the company he founded in Windsor, Connecticut, in 1986. Since 1995, Stone has guided SS&C through over 23 acquisitions, and took the company public in 1996 and it wasn’t until November 2005 that it was acquired by The Carlyle Group.
